Alter Ego

The Ask:

You’ve heard of coffeefruit, right? No?! You’re not alone. It’s coffee’s lesser known counterpart, or “alter ego”—the naturally caffeinated, naturally sweet pulp that holds the bean right up until harvest. Until recently, this bashful fruit has been overlooked. The gentleman of Riff nudged its delicious notes of citrus and stone fruit to center stage—packaged up in a nutrient rich energy drink that’s 100% free of artificial ingredients. Oh right, the ask: A launch campaign that reflected the bubbly personality of the drink itself.

The Work:

A pair of brand-tastic digital videos to be leveraged across social, email, and web. The concept was driven by the energy drink’s ability to unlock one’s “alter ego”—that corner of your personality that is often left unseen, unnurtured, and unable to blossom. A script, storyboard, and shoot later, we were able to deliver a 90-second ad that flicked your inner-monologue awake while educating you on the benefits of superfruit.
