The Ask:

Solidworks is the go-to 3D computer-aided design solution provider for product design and engineering. For years and years (and years), its loyal user-base has been leveraging these solutions to bring some of the brightest ideas in the world to life…from their desktop. But Solidworks is moving to the cloud. And as it turns out, those loyal desktop users had no interest in adopting the new normal. In fact, they were rather upset about it.

The Work:

We got to work on a robust adoption campaign that was just as brazen as the perceived shift to cloud services. With a passionate online community, we needed our message to address the elephant in the room. We spun up retargeting ads, personalized content, and microsite experience that drove a cohesive message: You’ve been using our product a certain way for a long time, and probably (definitely) aren’t looking for significant change. And we get it, nobody likes change. But we promise Cloud Services have your best interests in mind.

Sometimes, you have to trust the elephant.
